Monroe Township Board of Zoning Appeals
Public Hearing
Tuesday June 4, 2019

Case #BZA 2019-02 and #BZA 2019-03

The Monroe Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing for Case #BZA 2019-02 and #BZA 2019-03 at the Monroe Township Hall 2828 St. Rt. 222 Bethel, Ohio 45106 at 7:00pm on Tuesday June 4, 2019. The reason for the public hearing is to hear the request of Mt. Zion Christian Church at 1566 Clermontville Laurel Rd. New Richmond, Ohio 45157 Parcel #222615E028. Case #BZA 2091-02 the Church is requesting to create a separate parcel for the Church building and parking lot which will leave the Mt. Zion cemetery its own parcel making the Church lot 0.50 acres. The required lot size for the Agricultural zone is 2.0 acres. The second request, Case #BZA 2019-03, if Case #BZA 2019-02 is approved the Church Building will not meet the required set-backs of 50ft. rear yard and 30ft. side yard set-backs. The request will be for a variance of 34.9ft. in the rear yard for a rear yard set-back to 15.1 ft. and a 10ft. variance in the right-side yard to 20ft. The site plan and applications are open to the public for review during the hours of 9:30am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday at the Monroe Township Hall 2828 St. Rt. 222 Bethel, Ohio 45106.
